Long Island’s Biggest Tech Expo for Local Companies
Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and the Nassau County Tech Task Team (T3), co-chaired by Peter Goldsmith of LISTnet and Andrew Hazen of LaunchPad Long Island, today announced the latest Technology Island initiative; Long Island Tech Day! Long Island Tech Day, Long Island’s Biggest Tech Expo, will take place on November 10th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Mitchel Field Athletic Complex, located at One Charles Lindbergh Boulevard in Uniondale. Long Island Tech Day provides local technology companies and startups the opportunity to show off their talent and pool of tech enthusiasts to consumers, high caliber investors and the media.
County Executive Mangano stated, “I applaud the work of my Tech Task Team and our business partners for launching Long Island Tech Day – the biggest Tech Expo on Long Island! Through Technology Island initiatives we continue to support and strengthen Nassau’s tech industry while helping residents find meaningful employment opportunities.”
Andrew S. Hazen, Founder of Long Island Tech Day and CEO of LaunchPad, added “Long Island Tech Day is an event that benefits Long Island-based tech companies of all sizes and gives them the opportunity to directly interact with the Long Island community with a focus on their individual needs – they can demo new products and services, recruit for open positions, interact with high caliber investors or just say hello to the tech community. The result transforms Long Island Tech Day into the biggest Tech Expo for Long Island-based tech companies.”
