East Meadow, NY – Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and the Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery this week announced that a public information meeting on the Five Towns Drainage Study will be held on September 27th at 6:00 p.m.
The meeting will discuss the results, recommendations and design concepts developed to mitigate existing flooding conditions and to ensure a more resilient, flood protected community for Five Towns residents.
County Executive Mangano invites residents to attend and bring their friends and neighbors. This project was funded by and conceived through the NY Rising Community Reconstruction Program of the Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery.
